So, today was the "Harry's Hay Day Parade" in Grandview. It is in honor of Harry Truman. We had a fun time.
Note: Mom says sorry for the quality of the pics...she thinks her lens has a smudge on it.

Here I am getting ready for the parade; I even got to wear my little black dress!
Here we come! Go Grandview Animal Hospital! Hey, look! There is me and Griffin. I heard the crowd saying lots of things about my dress. They really liked it! Hey, Mom, what were you doing when you took this picture? It is all slanted and I don't remember the street being like that.
Look at my daddy taking care of me. He is the best Dad! I know if one of those big dogs tried to pick a fight he would protect me. Speaking of fights, there were 2 big dogs that got into it while we were waiting for the parade to start. There we go! The parade was long, about 2 miles but I walked the whole way. Mom and Dad thought I would have to be carried but I didn't! After the parade we went back to the vet clinic and they were giving away hot dogs (not funny) with a donation to the Hard Luck Hounds to help the homeless pets at the clinic.
Here is everyone that was in the parade with me. Do you see me? I am on the left side with my dad. We took this picture while waiting for the parade to start.
This is my cousin, Griffin. He is a Mastiff and the most easy going guy I have ever met. His personality is very different from mine :o)Griffin is quite a big guy, especially compared to me. He still has some growing to do. Geez! How big do you really need to be? Thats Aunt Shannon with Griffin, she said if me and Grif went at it she would put her money on me! Hey, Griffin! Being a big dog doesn't make you tough. Even your mom says you are a wimp.
That is Gretchen, she is part wiener dog and part....well, we don't know for sure. Kayla, my cousin, is with Gretchen. Gretchen and Griffen live at Shannon and David's house.Who taught this guy how to sit?
That just doesn't look right.
Finally, the parade started. We were almost at the end. I guess they didn't want to put the marching band behind us. Not sure why. That just doesn't look right.

Hey, why won't you guys share those hot dogs with me?
Would you call me a cannibal if I ate a wiener?
Next, we headed home and it wasn't long before I curled up for a long nap! Walking 2 miles on these itty bitty legs is a lot of work!
ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz
Listen here lady, I have about had it with you and that camera!
Leave me alone so I can sleep!
