Winner, Winner, What's For Dinner?

Before revealing the winners of the
What Made You A Great Dog In 2014 Photo Contest,
I want to say thank you again to all the dogs who entered my very first ever contest!

First, all seven names were written down.

Then, they were folded, mixed up, and spread out for me to chews the winners.

Next, Momma tried really hard to get me to chews one of the pieces of paper.  However, I had other ideas.

So, Daddy came and picked three winners for me.

Congratulations Susie, Frankie, and Harlow!
You have each won a free bag of Purina Pro Plan Dog Food.

Momma will be contacting you regarding your winnings.

Thank you to Purina for giving me the opportunity to hold this contest!
I had a lot of fun!
I hope you guys did too!

I will be showing you what I got for Christmas later this week.  All I can tell you right now is that this was the best Christmas of my life!

**Momma says she is sorry for the quality of the photos but sometimes they just don't turn out the way you want them to :0(

What Made You A Great Dog In 2014 Photo Contest

I had 7 of you guys who entered my contest!
Thanks to each of you for entering the contest!
The entries were:

Susie
Susie tells us:
I was born as a puppy mill reject and was the most scardy little thing.  My peeps turned me into a Sweetie Petunia Scottie Dog, not afraid of anything  (ok, well thunder), party gal, very loving (OOH them belly rubs) and one awesome pup...cause MY Dad says so.  This picture got Me in the 2014 "Dogs of Blogville Calendar".

Sarge
Sarge explains:
My peeps say I was great because my job as Police Commissioner helps Blogville be such an amazing community.  I even joined up with Mayoress Madi this year to attend a Community Leadership Convention so that we can do the bestest work we can.  This pic is of us at the convention learning how to improve our world.

Harlow
Harlow's mom says:
We had a tough year this year and Harlow was there to remind us that there is a "golden" lining in every dark cloud.  She takes her job of making people happy seriously, and she is a champion at it.  She always reminds us to smile.  :)

Ernie
Frankie tells us:
Ernie grew into his Dachshund skin and had his first deading.

Dory
Dory's mom explains:
Dory is such a patient pup and puts up with me dressing her up and taking pictures of her.  She always has a smile on her face and a wiggle in her butt.  I am so lucky to have such a happy girl!  This is only one of the many reasons she is such a great dog!!

Stanley and Murphy
Murphy tells us:
We are good canine citizens and try to help the more unfortunate.

Frankie
Ernie says:
Frankie was good when he told Mom that there was a cardinal laying in the snow and it was freezing so she went out and held it until it was warm and could fly away free.  Frankie saved its life!

I know I told you that I would randomly choose a winner on 12/28 but, as you have learned to expect from me, we are running behind.  I will choose the 3 winners tomorrow.
Hey, 2 days behind isn't too terrible is it?
It is the Holiday Season after all!

A Contest and Sweepstakes Just for YOU!

I think we have all heard about the Incredible Dog Challenge.  It happens to be one of my favorite things to watch on TV, especially the diving dogs.  Those pups are KRAZY!  I would never do anything like that!  I'm made of sugar and all that water would make me a sticky mess.

Purina Pro Plan asked me to let my readers know that they are doing a sweepstakes with a pawsome prize:
*2 round-trip plane tickets to Huntington Beach, CA for the Incredible Dog Challenge Western Regionals
*A 3-day, 2-night hotel stay
*Ground transportation and spending money
*AND (the best part) a $500 PetSmart gift card

The sweepstakes is really easy to enter.  All you have to do is go to this webpage and enter your email address.  Even those of us who have issues with our assistants should be able to talk them into entering this sweepstakes.

Also, Purina Pro Plan is sponsoring a photo contest right here on my blog!  I'm so excited to get to have my own photo contest!  I've never had a contest of any kind since this has become my blog.  I'm expecting to get lots of entries for my first ever contest (hint, hint)!

Win Some Food For Thought

I received an email the other day from a nice lady named Mary-Catherine about a photo contest.  She told me if I was willing to spread the word about the contest she would send me some treats for my trouble.  Look what came in the mail!

3 whole bags of Wellness Core treats!
I was so fast at eating the one Mom gave me that she was only able to capture 1 picture!
Look, Mom, no treats!

This happens to be the easiest work I've ever done for treats (since I am currently sleeping).

So, here are the details about the
Wellness Natural Pet Food for Dogs and Cats Naughty or Nice Pet Photo Contest:
-Upload up to 4 images of yourself being naughty or nice
-Win a year's supply of Wellness Dog or Cat food!!!
That is all you have to do!
Winning a years supply of food has never been easier.
The contest is open until December 23rd.
There will be two grand prize winners of the year's supply of Wellness Pet Food, one dog and one cat.
There will be up to ten runners up and they will receive a Wellness cat or dog prize pack!

I happen to eat Wellness dog food and this is my actual bag of food.

Mom and Dad like feeding me Wellness and that is what Twix ate too.  We have been a Wellness family for a long time.  Mom tossed my bag on the floor to take some pics for our post.

Hey!  What is my kibble doing in the middle of the floor?

Let's see if I can figure out how to open this zipper thing.

No luck!  I'm gonna try my super fast moves and see if I can scare this bag open!

That didn't work either.  Hmmm....guess I'll have to use these sharp teeth and tear this bag wide open.

What is this bag made of anyway?

Guess I'll have to try to carry it to my kennel.

 Ugh!  Too heavy!
My only other option is to push it.

I never did get into that darn bag!
I guess I better get some photos uploaded for the contest so I can win more bags of food to wrestle with.
Do you guys think I should go with naughty or nice?

A Great Game!

What do I do about this?

You guys will never guess what happened this weekend!

Momma left on Saturday night and again Sunday morning.  After she got home on Sunday, I "borrowed" her phone cuz I wanted to text a little love note to Stanley.
This is what I saw on her phone:

My momma is cheating on me!!!!

I thought she smelled funny when she came home Saturday night.  I spent a good 15 minutes giving her an extended sniff over, but I never suspected this!

I just don't know what to think any more.
Does she like big dogs better?
Maybe she likes dogs with wrinkly faces and big jowls.
How long has this has been going on?

Most importantly, what should I do about this?
