I have really been missing Twix lately. I'm so glad I started this blog for her because I can go back and look at all the pictures and stories whenever I want. Sometimes they make me happy and sometimes they make me sad. I know only a few of my current followers knew Twix and these posts may not interest some of you who never knew her. However, it is important to me that she not be forgotten as this blog was started by Twix. Since we didn't do a Flashback last week, I wanted to post one of her Thanksgiving posts for this week.
Today's Flashback was originally posted on

I hope everyone has been able to enjoy some time with their family and friends today. When I did my post about my adoption story, it got me to thinking about all the things I have to be thankful for.....
I'm most thankful for treats!
I'm thankful for the ability to play with my toys,
whenever I decide to.
whenever I decide to.
I'm thankful for my Grandma who loves me very much.
I'm thankful for all the silly photos Mom takes of me (sorta).
I'm thankful for clothes to keep me warm since I don't have much fur. (No offense to my feline furiends!)
I'm thankful for blankets left on the couch for me to cuddle up and take a nap in.
I'm thankful for the sunshine that comes through the windows even when it is cold outside.
I'm thankful for living long enough to have all these gray hairs in my beard.
I'm thankful Scooter found a home of his own.
I'm thankful for the ability to go on walks even when I have to wait for the person walking me.
I'm thankful for being able to relax in the sun.
I'm thankful that I get to sleep in the big bed.
I'm thankful for my daddy because he loves me very much.
I'm thankful for my momma because she loves me very much.
I'm thankful that my momma and daddy love each other very much and I get to be a part of their family.
And I'm very thankful for all my blogging furiends who love and support me no matter how silly I am!

Those are great photos! Yes, blogs are nice to capture our lives at a certain point. Mom went back to one of hers one time and said it was most interesting to read things that at the time she thought were kind of boring.
Now, back to your photos. Stanley is studying the photos of your daddy and he has noticed that your daddy did not have crazy eyes in any of them. Your daddy looks very nice and friendly! This has given Stanley hope!

And we are thankful that Twix was so special to you that you started her blog AND now continue to make us smile with the "Best of Twix" posts:)
Cold enough for you? Twix would be snuggled under all those blankets for sure while we would be telling her how much we want snow - we remember those post very well.

Hi Taffy!
A martingale colar is the kind of collar Greyhounds and other sighthounds wear. It slips over the head, and if the dog tries to slip it it tightens just enough to contain the dog, but not enough to choke them. I use them whenever I'm not on a harness, since my head is the same width as my neck. (they shouldn't be left on all the time like buckle or quick release collars, though!)
We could never forget you, Twix! We love the grey furs in your beard ♥
Love ya lots♥

I am thankful to have met you even though you're probably busy digging some treats out of the clouds across the rainbow bridge.
