An Evening Walk

Mom and I went for a walk the other day after she got home from work.  For some unknown reason she brought the camera....she doesn't usually grab it for our evening walks.

First of all, I had to do my most favoritist thing in the world.

As we walked, Mom noticed somebunny being very still....
She was quite shocked that I didn't notice him.

I was on a mission that did not include bunnies.

Once my mission was complete, we headed home and
on the way I picked up somebunny's scent.

Oh!  He was right here!  Where did he go?

Mom, I am NOT ready to go yet
so please stop pulling on my leash!
I know you can't smell it but somebunny was here.
I need time to investigate.

Believe it or not, she told me I was a "Crack head"!
She did not give me more time to investigate!
RUDE!

I got my first Christmas card today from Frankie and Ernie!
Thanks for the card, boys!

Don't you just hate it when your momma tries to pull away from a good sniff? Those humans don't know what they are missing.

Taffy, Wrigs tells me that sniffing where a bunny or squirrel has been is *almost* as good as seeing one. I sometimes see them when he doesn't. I guess when they keep perfectly still, dogs don't usually notice them. :-)

It makes our Mom happy when she sees the bunnies and we don't. That way she doesn't get her arm yanked off. Have a happy turkey day.

The same thing has happened to us too, Taffy. We get dragged away from interesting bunny smells! It is rude!

Love ya lots♥

We're always being dragged away from good stuff. I'm sure our necks are longer than breed standard.

Oh Taffy, LOVES your roachin'!! That is mighty important. I totally agree.
And, so is sniffin' those critter scents!!! We don't have bunnies, butts the tree rats are abundant, and I have to sniff every place they have been, and I thinks it is VERY RUDE of the peeps to be pullin' us away when we are gathering evidence!!
Just sayin'....
Kisses,
Ruby ♥

OMD! How rude, indeed! We love to go out in our yard in the morning and sniff where the bunnies have been. They come out every night in our yard.
Christmas cards are fun! :) We are not sending out cards this year.

I noticed you have a great "I'm not done yet" pull away move. Very impressive, Taffy! I hope you find that little bun-bun on your next walk!
