Awards and Getting to Know You

I received 2 awards from my new furiend, Nola.   Thank you so much for giving me my very first ever award, Nola!  If you don't know Nola, please visit her at Dachshund Nola.

I like this award because it gives you the opportunity to get to know me and I get to know more about you.

Hmmm...11 random facts about me.

1.  I lived at a puppy mill for the first 3-4 years of my life, having puppies.  I'm fortunate to have
only lived there for that long.

2.  Even though I have lived with Daddy and Momma for almost 3 years, my personality is still developing.

3.  I love to roll in the grass when I go for walks.

4.  I didn't know how to play when I first got here

 but I am slowly learning.

5.  I am the first doxie in my family that's not a smooth hair.

6.  My favorite treat is baby carrots.

7.  I love strawberry ice cream!

8.  I tried to climb the counter when I first smelled popcorn.

9.  I toss my kibble out of my bowl until I see the bottom of the bowl, which drives my Daddy crazy.

10.  I drool like a water fall when I'm nervous.

11.  I get sick when I ride in the car.

Here are the 11 questions that Nola and her mom made up for me.  I think Nola's mom picked these questions to get to know us better so I let Momma answer too.

1.  Do you enjoy exercise and working out?  

I love going on my walks every day.

I wish I did but I hate being hot and sweaty.

2.  Favorite time of day (or night)?

Evening because Momma and Daddy are home with me.

Sunset / dusk

3.  What is your dream dog breed, 

even if you're not a good fit for them.

ME!

Dachshunds, so much that I would love to own a dachshund farm similar to the "herd of dachshunds" Sprint commercial.

4.  What is one of your favorite songs 

and/or favorite band/artist?

I don't really have a preference.  I do like it when

I see or hear doggies on TV though.

I am a huge fan of 80's hair bands and my favorite group from that time is Heart.  I would have to say my favorite 
male singer is The Red Rocker, 
Sammy Hagar....love the growl in his voice.  

My favorite female singer is Karen Carpenter...

she has such a beautiful, pure voice.

5.  Favorite book or book series?

The book I got from Wrigs, Angelo's Journey, was tasty.

My favorite book is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers.

6.  Early bird or night owl?

I don't think I'm really either but I do love mornings because I get a spoon full of canned food.

I am definitely a night owl.  No question about it.

7.  How tall are you?

Short!

5'6"

8.  "Damn" or "drat" (curse like a sailor or prim and proper)?

I tend to be more prim and proper unless I'm being ignored.

I am a mix of both.

9.  What's your style?

I'm good with whatever.

Jeans and t-shirts.

10.  Oceans or mountains?

I've never been to either but would probably like them both.

FOOD!
