What a sad 24 hours that have just passed. I was so very sorry to hear about Dakota even though I had not been able to get to know her very well. She was a beautiful girl with the purest of blue eyes. Then, I heard about Farrah. She too was beautiful. And now, Michael. I am praying for all the families during this time of grief.
My mom works for an eye doctor and one of the drug companies that makes eye drops (Allergan) is working with the Make A Wish Foundation. They have already donated $500,000 to the foundation and will donate an additional $5 for each person that registers on their site. I thought this would be a great way to help others amongst all the sadness. (I am not trying to promote their products, just the Make A Wish Foundation)
In memory of Dakota, Farrah, and Michael and a wish to bring Laska home safely.

It has been a sad time indeed. That's a very thoughtful thing you're doing there.
It is always good to do something positive when things have been so sad.
Take care

Yes, a sad day indeed.
We will miss all those who were bright stars in the entertainment world.
Glad you feel the same way we do

We ended our day with prayers for all of their families. Grieving is a hard thing and it must be even worse when you are in the public eye like MJ or FF.
Thanks for what you are doing for Make a Wish Foundation - it's a wonderful cause.

Hi Twix,
The Make A Wish Foundation is a good group to make a donation to.

The link in my post will take you to the sign up page. Yes, you are signing up for a "rewards program" but you can certainly cancel the first time you get something in an email if you want to. The program does not require you to purchase anything to sign up and as others have mentioned MAW is a great program to help kids in your own community.
I just wanted to clear that up in case someone thought you had to purchase something, etc.
