Blogville Date Day

 I am, of course, going with my main man, Stanley.  

We are double dating with Ruby and Murphy.

I think Stanley's mom expects us to keep those two in line.

It is quite the challenge....as most of you know!

In preparation for Date Day, I entered my special 

Blogville Time Warp and headed to Ruby's house.

Ruby was quite nervous when I arrived and asked me to share a drink with her to calm her nerves.  In the time it took me to sip on one of those, she polished off the rest of them.

I soon realized why she was so nervous.....

Taffy:  "No, Ruby, I do not think that is the best thing for you to wear on our double date."

Ruby:  "Why not?  I love bubbles!"

Taffy:  "Well, first of all, Murphy's mom would never let him leave the house with you dressed like that."

Ruby:  "I think I look pretty."

Taffy:  "You look gorgeous!  I'd give anything to have your figure"

Ruby:  "Well then, what's the problem?"

Taffy:  "Uh, you uh, look a little ummm, uhhh, oh, how do I say this?"

Ruby:  "?????"

Taffy:  "That outfit is a little revealing!"  

(That was a nice way to say that, right?)

Ruby:  "Oh!  Got it!"

Taffy:  "Besides, if I know Stanley, he and Murphy will have a lot of activities planned with some romance mixed in."

Once we got that worked out, Ruby was much more relaxed (or was that the drinks that relaxed her?).

We waited in her front yard for the boys to pick us up in their pup copter.

We are off on our wonderful dates!
