A note from Mom:
This blog was started by Twix and it is very important to me that she not be forgotten. I am planning to do a weekly "Flashback" using one of her posts. Hopefully, that will give our new followers a chance to get to know her and our long time followers some reminders of what a character she was.
This first Flashback Friday with Twix was originally posted on April 19, 2009.
My Daddy
See that picture of me? I was all comfy on the floor and Momma came and put that stupid camera in my face. Just as she clicked, Daddy came into the room. She calls this picture "Worship" because I worship my daddy.

I have the best Daddy in the world! I was about 2 when he started coming around. He didn't really like me at first...because I'm small of all things! So, since he didn't like me, I didn't like him! I even used to steal his food when he wasn't looking....OH! That made him mad! Tee Hee! I loved it! Anyway, Momma got sick and had to go to the hospital for a week. Daddy had to come over and take care of me and my step sister. When he tells the story he says we "bonded" during that time. The truth is, he felt sorry for me because Momma wasn't here and he spoiled me. He has been spoiling me ever since too.
I follow him everywhere and Momma gets jealous. Sorry, Momma, you don't spoil me like he does. I can get away with anything with Daddy. This is how much I love him....

We are even the same color...and we have the same eye color even though you can't tell in this picture. Maybe he was around from the beginning and Momma was hiding him!

Boy Howdy do I (Frankie Furter) ever remember just how Sweet Twix Took over Mr. A's life. The poor guy just didn't have a chance. BaaaaWaaah.

We have never forgotten our Twixerrific Twix! How could we- she had her daddy wrapped tightly around her paws and we followe her example! And yes, please post her chair photos!

As a new reader, I'm so glad that you're doing this. I'm so happy to get to know Twix. She sure did love her Daddy.
I just saw your Kathleen Coy painting of Twix. I have one of my Angel K, who died last July. It's wonderful, just like yours.

Of course Mommy & I remember this post an all the others too. Me and Twix had a lot in common, health wise and other things. We miss her a lot. Our favorite pictures of Twix were always of those in her chair and with your Daddy.
Mommy says she's sure our Weenie and Twix are at the bridge hanging out.
