Daddy noticed I had "something" on my leg and when he went to look at it he saw I was injured. He and Momma cleaned it up as much as I would let them and have put some antibiotic ointment on it. Neither one of them can figure out what happened to me and they aren't too happy that I won't give up my secret.
They think maybe I was bitten by something but they can't figure out what. It is still to cold for snakes and I am not outside by myself either. I wasn't home alone today and spent most of my time sleeping.
I just love a good puzzle, don't you?

Hi Twix, I know that you said you were in the house all day. My Mom thinks that it may have been spiders in your house. Maybe you
were bitten once or twice. That is what my Mom says your boo boo looks like.
I think that your Mom and Dad should take you to the Vet if they can. To make sure what ever bit you was not venmous.

Our Mom has the same wound on the bottom of her foot - she is attributing it to a spider - and she knows that you need to have extra special petting and care because it hurts!!

Look like spidey bites to use. Some of those nasty arachnids have things in their bite that make tissue die in the surrounding area. We agree that at V-E-T should take a look to make sure it doesn't need any medicine! Make sure to give us an update!

It almost looks like an abscess. My "Nonnie's" cocker spaniel had one on her hip. I would diff get the vet to check it out. You might need an antibotic for it.

I had a sore (about the size of a dime) on my leg once and I had to take antibiotics for a few weeks. Mom and dad also had to clean it twice a day as well as apply an antibiotic ointment.

Candy had a little thing like that almost in the same spot a while back, I was convinced it was a spider bite, but Seth said if it was it would have been a HUGE spider. SO we concluded she injured herself somehow. It took a long time heal because she kept liking it... so don't likc your wound sweet Twix.
