New Things Thursday

Mom and Dad went to Wal~Mart and decided to get me a new sweater while they were there.
Kinda cute, huh? You see the size up at the top?
That seems like the correct size for me, right?
I'm pretty sure that is the size most of my other shirts are. They give my my sweater, I try it on and I'm thinking I look pretty hot. I don't have anything red to wear currently so I am excited thinking I am turning into a fashionista like Lorenza.
Well, I thought they were gonna bust a rib from laughing so hard. It was a wee bit short on me. Momma said I looked like a 'hoochie'! Can you believe she said that? Fortunately, there are no pics of me wearing the sweater but only because the camera operator was laughing so hard she could hardly stand up.Hopefully I will be getting a sweater that fits a little better and I will show it to you when I get it.I got some new food too! Remember when I went to the V.E.T. and discussed my hair loss? One of the things she suggested was switching foods since I have been on the same kibble for a long time and may have developed an allergy to it. So, I went from eating this:
Wellness Dry Dog Food Fish & Sweet Potato
which is Fish and Sweet Potato to this:
WELLNESS SUPER5MIX Chicken 6lb bag - Click Image to Close
which is Chicken.
Mom and Dad said it was better for my tummy if they slowly start mixing it with my old food. I don't know why they wasted their time! I just nose around in the bowl and get out the new food and leave that old fishy stuff alone. I am here to tell ya, this new food is soooooo tasty. Mom said I am going to lose my girlish figure if I keep hogging it like I have been.
Note to Mom:
I don't care about having a girlish figure!

Since it is a new day I thought I could show you some pretty sunrise photos Mom took yesterday morning.

Pretty huh? Enjoy em now cause when the time changes you will not be seeing any more sunrise photos!

Oh! One more thing.....
I've gotten several comments about my doxie jack-o-lantern, which, no one in this house carved. But my friend, Marla, sent me this link where you can get a pattern for your favorite dog breed. So, if you live with a family that procrastinates (and hasn't carved a pumpkin yet) you might want to check it out.

Have a great Thursday everyone!

Hi Twix, no worries about the girlish figure - we gave up in favour of eating some time ago!
These humans are so obsessed with calories it is a wonder we dogs are not anorexic!
We hope you enjoy your new food - if not send out for a pizza!
We liked your new jumper but of course like us you have a long body!
We think it is outrageous that your humans laughed at you!
Beautiful sunrise pics!!

Twix - we love your figure - you don't have to worry about things making your butt look big!! If you could stand up on your back legs, you'd be tall and thin!!

Hi, Twix...

Love the sweater...I hope they can find one in your size...I think that sweater just must run small...

My Mom has bought me a few things that "run small", too...You would think I'm a Size "S", too, but mostly I have to take that Size "M" - I think the "M" stands for "Marvelous"...

Love the Pumpkin...

Twix,
Mom is lol at the visual of you in your hoochie red sweater. Oh my that was funny. Our humans have lots of fun at our expense...I say was go on strike from the flashy box?! You know I love food I wonder if there is cat food with sweet potatoes in it? Sounds yummy to me.
Enjoy
Madi and Mom too

Twix,
That story was just too funny!!! We DO NOT think all sweaters are created equal from personal experience hehehe! Sure wish your Mom had gotten a picture though.

Aw Twix, I can't wait to see you in a perfectly fitted RED sweater. I hope you will be posed on your CHAIR.
I do think there is some sort of dachshund discrimination thingy going on in the Doggy clothing department. Don't they know that we need a Small size that comes in LONG. It stinks, doesn't it.
Sometimes my mom Sews a matching part on my things. Hard to do that with a knit sweater though.

Twix, too bad that hoochie sweater didn't fit you, red is definitely your color! Mom spends a lot of money buying us clothes at Walmart, sometimes Dad gets annoyed with her, but we don't, because we love all the clothes! And don't you just love that new food, we eat that food too, or should I say I eat it and my brother vacuums it up, BOL!!

Chi kisses, Lilibell

Pee Ess I think you have a great figure, so don't listen to those hoomans!

Twix, Andy wants you to know that the reason weenies can't wear the "S" stuff is because of the barrel chests. He's lean and trim and couldn't fit a small to save his life. I would like to see the hoochie sweater pic. Sounds pretty funny!

We changed our food recently. The only store where we lived stopped carrying it. We went with Orijen.

Hey Twix, I have that same sweater! I wore it so I would look snazzy last Thanksgiving. It worked! Everyone thought I was very handsome. I bet when you wear yours everyone will say you look gorgeous in it! Good luck with the new food.

Some dogs have them at dog park but they have yto take them off when Beckett is there.
Bckett eats people's clothes.
He is bad and has to have time out.

No sunsets or sunrises here today, Twix, just miserable rain, right?

Your new food looks so yummy, and you know your Mom is right, you should switch over slowly so your tummy doesn't get sick.

We got a wonderful stencil of our breed but it is so hard and Mom has no idea how to do it. We are on the hunt for a good pumpkin carver.

Hi, Twix!
That sweater is very nice! I hope your mom can find it in your size.
It is not funny when they make fun of us, right?
Sounds like you really liked your new food!
The only good thing I got from my last visit to the Vet was that he said my mom was giving me a very little portion of kibble and he told her to increase the amount! Yu-ju!
Kisses and hugs

Hi Twix!

Don't worry about your sweater, I have a hard time getting Sadie sweaters that fit to, I usually buy one size bigger then have Sadie's grandma alter them to fit better.

You are not a hoochie mama!

Shame shame.

You know I bought Tulip a sweater from another Walmart but the same brand and it was too little for Tulip as well. So you just tell that to your family. : )

You are still pretty honey.
