Tomatoes

For those of you who don't know, my mom's favorite thing to eat is tomatoes. According to her, she can't live without them. Yesterday our neighbor gave her 3 Roma tomatoes when she got home from work. She laid them on the coffee table, let me out, etc. She forgot about her precious tomatoes. So, when she and Dad were busy, I helped myself to them!! They were great too! Dad caught me under the coffee table with this...

Talk about yummy! Now I understand why Mom likes them so much. I had already eaten a whole one and half of the one you see before Dad saw what I was doing. My tummy was pretty full. Dad said it was tight too. Take a look at my tummy while Dad holds me up...

World's Oldest Dog...???

Check this video out. It is supposed to be the world's oldest dog--almost 21 or 120 in human years. The best part is that this dog is a Dachshund! Go wiener dogs!! Great news for me and my family! I know my daddy would love for me to make it to 21. Gosh, can you imagine how spoiled I would be at that point?

It has been raining here all week and I've become a little blue. As you can see, I've lost all my color but today the sun came out for most of the day.

Look, my color has returned and I am soooo very relaxed!

Cats

There is a cat that sometimes comes and sits outside the sliding glass door....drives me insane! I guess that cat has not seen me express my feelings recently. Just in case anyone is wondering......

YIPEE SKIPEE!!!!

That pesky Baxter finally went home last night. Things are back to normal now. I don't have to pout all day anymore to make Mom and Dad feel bad. I don't have to share my toys, treats, food, water, or (most importantly) Mom and Dad's laps. I have to say, I might miss snapping at him and putting him in his place!!! ;0)

Momma told me that Daddy was the one who decided Baxter could come and stay with us. I don't believe her. My daddy would not do that!!! He loves me too much!

Baxter

Our company is Baxter. He lives a few doors down. I don't mind playing with him--OUTSIDE! But I especially like going to see his Mom; she always has good treats! Baxter will be here another day or two but he is so hyper....I think he has doggie ADD. He growls at me when I get close to his crate and when he is near his food. He thinks he is sooo tough but he isn't cuz then he runs off and I eat his food!

I heard Mom and Dad talking about company coming tomorrow. They didn't say who it was but I did hear that I'm not gonna be happy about it. I don't know why they think that...I like company, especially when they pet me! I'll let ya know when I find out.
