Date Night Part Two

Once everyone arrived, an army
of limos came and picked us up. 

They then took us to our destination that I was able to keep secret until now.

Look at the welcome sign they made for us!

The first thing we did after that long ride was leave some pee mails. We were all shocked when we entered
 the castle and saw this:

The Basset Babes and Mango! I had no idea they were gonna be here. Let me see.... Nope! Not on the guest list but glad to see you guys!

Lilibell brought dinner with her for all of us!

I have no idea how that itty bitty thing carried enough food for over 100 dogs!

Rambo, Hauwii, Bender, and Phantom were ready to dig in!

After dinner, Major thought it was time to break out the refreshments. (He did tell me he was going to bring a keg but I thought he was joking!)

No, Major, I do not want a beer.
Can't you see I'm trying to get this monkey off my back?

Uh Oh! Looks like Chester got a hold of
Major's refreshments.....

I don't think Coco is too happy about it either.
Look out for flying shoes Chester!
Meanwhile, on the other side of the room El'bow was showing how easy it is to balance a ball on your head. Winnie demonstrated the fine art of playing dead. Madi did a fashion show and Kat did her impersonation of a brown noser.

Look over by the door! We have a couple of late arrivals.
Calvert has arrived along with Jazzi.

I think Calvert appreciates Groucho and Guinness keeping Minnie company since he had to work late. Looks like Jazzi stopped by the florist on his way here. Who likes tulips?
Speaking of flowers, I caught Brutus
outside picking one for Stella.

I wonder what else is going on around here.
C'mon Hero, lets take a walk and find out.

We found Big Carl showing his skills as a contortionist, Alven was showing off his Ninja moves, Stella let her dark side show, and Ciara was giving a demonstration on how to dig up your Mom's prized potted plants.

We also saw Baxter shaking his groove thing, Shady giving a lesson on professional napping (I heard she thinks the world is her bed), Maysie was playing hide and seek from Mack and Booker, and Tiger was showing us how to act scared to death due to a bath!

BG was trying with all his might to hear what Lorenza was saying. Have you ever tried to have a conversation in the midst of 100 partying dogs?

I'm not sure what Otis was doing.....

But I think he gave Riley and Ruby quite a scare!

Then we walked past Sallie reading a book.

Hmmm....I'm gonna have to do something about that.

I whipped out my bone phone and made a super secret call.

Frankie got so hot being near Ruby and Penny that he had to go sit on the air conditioner!

Bijou did a PSA on the importance of dental care, Coco Chanel wanted to let everyone know that girls smoke cigars too, Thai gave lessons on "Being Short and Walking in the Snow", and Mr. B was somehow turned into a frog!

Hey! Did you see that? I think my super secret bone call is about to pay off.

I think he is on his way.....

Did you guys see that some of the girls had their bunny ears on when they arrived at my house?

Did you guys know we have some hedawgs

that wear bunny ears too?

Yes, it is Riley, Guero, Brinks, Brutus, and Gunther.

Aren't they cute?

Hey! No jokes about cross dressing.

We love and respect all animals here (except rodents).

I've been a bit worried about Koda.

I've seen him looking at photos of ex wodawgs recently and he seems a bit depressed.

I've also noticed Lilibell being quite shy here at the pawty. She sure is a pretty little thing isn't she?

Ummmmm, Koda? I have an idea......

Love is in the air!!

I've noticed Brutus seems a bit nervous this evening. Wonder why.......

Let's check out the dance floor!

Tank is shakin his tail feather, Mack is starting a new dance trend, Tessa is break dancing,

and Dott is in her own little world.

Oh! I heard there is a big announcement

Date Night--Let's Get This Party Started!

Frankie was the first to arrive to my house as expected. He had quite a long trip and wanted to make sure he wasn't late. His 4 wheeler wouldn't even make it through the deep snow in Canada but that didn't stop him. He put 4 on the ground and kept on trucking!

He made sure Ruby and Penny were warm and comfy on their ride to Kansas City.

Shady arrived on the arm of the handsome Boomer. They both told me they are sick of looking for love in all the wrong places.Maybe tonight will be the right place!

Riley raced to Kansas City with Madi and Tessa. Talk about a lucky guy! He not only gets to drive a race car but he gets to date a wodawg AND a wocat!

Bender and Dott arrived dressed to the nines. Us girls were all jealous of Dott being able to keep a flower in her hair.

Bolo arrived with Lola next to him.

He loves it when she wears her playdawg bunny ears.

Take a look at the beautiful Candy and the handsome Piper. I hope Piper doesn't think he will need to beat the boys off with that stick. You know, this is Candy's first outing with guys.....

BG met Lorenza near her home town and carried a rose with him. No one will ever know how he kept that rose from wilting on that long trip to Mexico.

Bunny got tired of waiting on Major to pick her up and started digging her way to the party. Major was just enjoying the view.

True to form, Bijou told Big Carl exactly how she felt about his driving.

 

The lovely Mayzie was escorted by Mack and Booker. Hands off ladies! Mayzie is quite capable of handling both those handsome hounds.

Bella had to pick Tucker up from the spa. There are some rumors going around about him being a metro-sexual. We really don't care too much about that but he does spend a lot of time primping.

Halleigh flipped her lid when Brinks stopped by to pick her up.

 She is quite crazy about him....as in loco!

Ciara, Winnie, Dodo, Dottie, and Momo showed up next. Ciara, does your Mom know you are here? Well, I guess we can make Winnie responsible for you this evening (yikes!). Dodo, Dottie, and Momo, you sure

 are looking ready to paw-tay!

How El'bow and Hauwii scored a date with Khyra must be top secret. However, they are mighty handsome and she has the DWB's most famous pantyloons!

Baxter and Oskar got whisked away by Ginger. She kept it on the down-low that she was bringing them to Date Night and succeeded on surprising both of them!

Abby and Bailey borrowed that car from Beyonce and Lady Gaga. I think the car is payment for Abby and Bailey doing some pupsitting for the stars.

Guero and Halle had to come by ship!

Guero loves to listen to Halle sing (I'm not sure why).

Guinness, Minnie, Groucho, and Santa were exhausted after their trip. Be on the lookout for trouble later on with these guys. (whispering)I heard Calvert might not be too happy about Minnie being here with Guinness and Groucho.

Indie and Auggie? 

I wasn't expecting them to arrive together.

I'm sure Auggie will treat her like the queen she is, right Auggie?

Koda, Phantom, Shingo, and Rambo are looking rather hot tonight. I'm liking all of them with their dark hair. Tall, dark, and handsome right here, ladies!

Puddles asked Tank out tonight (with a little help from a furiend). Tank says he doesn't want to be tied down to one wodawg but Puddles might make him think twice about that before the night is over.

Chester was so anxious to see Cocorue  he decided to see if he could dig his way to her. And now I see why....OMD Coco! Where did you get that outfit? Those stilettos are to die for! What? You're wearing them so you can throw one at Chester when he gets outta line? Sheesh! I thought you were wearing them so you could reach up and kiss him.

Stella surprised Brutus when he stopped to pick her up by popping out of a bread box. I guess no one told her its supposed to be a cake. Apparently Brutus liked it by the way his tongue is hanging outta his mouth!

Kat's knight in shining armour, Thunder, came and rescued her just in time. She was about to be taken to the cleaners.

Star literally had to pull Remmington away from the office.

It seems he has a thing for blondes in red.

Mr. B was a bit shy until he saw Coco Chanel in her bunny ears. He gave her all those yellow tulips instead of just one. He even told her that he wouldn't even mind if she wanted to eat a few of them.

Sallie brought her best furiend in the whole universe with her. His name is Alien and they are practically inseperable. Be on the lookout though, Alien's cousin has been trying to take over the world.

Mia, Lilly, Molly, and Lilibell started giving out kisses as soon as they arrived. Most of these girls are young so you boys be nice to them. Ladies, make sure you don't let them talk you into going snipe hunting.

Hey guys! Look what just came in with the tide! Its Mochi, Midget Molly, and Lucky. I know the weather is nice in Hawaii and all but its time for you girls to get here. I guess you will have to use the Kansas Ocean. The Ao4 can give you directions from there.

Oscar cooked Sally Ann a gourmet meal before they got here followed by wallymelon.

Sally Ann told me she is all about the food and if Oscar keeps cooking like that............. 

Hey Mesa! Otis wants to know if you have room in there for him too.

Whats the deal? You 3 all look miffed. Sasha, did you tell JD and Max you just wanna be furiends? No? Well, I have no idea why "Friends" is hanging out with you and don't blame me for it either!

Chip and Thai showed up at Schatzi and Xena's house unannounced. They dognapped the girls for the party because their Mom said they couldn't go.

Those girls are still trying to figure out how they got here!

Stella, your new hair color is ummm, interesting.

I've heard that Riley likes "natural" blondes. 

Twinkie and Gunther stopped at the beach before heading over. I heard she might put her bikini back on later and go swimming in the toilet!

Tiger and Mona were the last to arrive because they had to finish their shift at the kissing booth. I wonder if they ever kissed any of the customers?

Wait a minute!

Aren't we still missing Alven, Rufus, and Indiana?

Anydog seen 'em?

OMD! I think theres gonna be a riot and I might faint!

Where are you? I need help over here!

HELP!

Hi, Twix's Mom here. I have been making a list as pups let me know they were interested in coming. I'm sad to say, I have a pup named Lucky on my list and I can't figure out who it is. This is totally my fault, please don't blame Twix. We have almost 100 attendees and many that I have just met.....doing pretty good to only have one I can't find, right????  We are working hard to get part 1 up sometime tonight.

UPDATE: You guys are correct! How could I forget that cutie pie? I even have her photos on this computer and still missed it!

For those of you that are new to me and have more than 1 pup in your house, will you please email me a photo of each pup that will be attending and their name. That will save a lot of time so we don't have to search to see who is who. Photos where you are wearing something strange (butterfly wings, bunny ears, lei, etc), doing something cute (driving a car, sleeping in a strange position, peeking out from somewhere, etc) would be great! That will save some time as well.

Update on Date Night

Well, Mom made it home, unfortunately finally.  Now, she interrupts my snuggle time with Dad but he is happy that she is home so I guess I am too.  Mom went to Boston for a very short trip and didn't get to do too many things because she was in meetings most of the time. She did have a few hours to go out and take some photos near her hotel and do a bit of window shopping.

She was excited when she got home to see how her photos turned out so after doing this, that, and the other thing she turned on the computer and uploaded her photos. She looked through them quickly and then wanted to see what comments you guys left on my blog. (We don't have a laptop so she didn't have computer access while in Boston) She opened the first post that went up while she was in Boston and started reading and *blip* the monitor went blank. Hmmm.....

The computer was still getting power but she noticed a funny smell.  Uh Oh!

After looking at different things (she doesn't really have a clue) she thinks maybe her motherboard went out.  This same thing happened last year (when the computer was still under warranty) and it is acting the same way. She talked to someone and they said it could be her hard drive if it smelled like something was hot. Either way, our computer is 5+ years old and she said it will probably cost just as much to fix the old one as it will to buy a new one. Any computer nerds out there have any ideas? 

We are borrowing Uncle David's laptop right now. Mom says we don't have the green papers to fix the computer right now and will have to start saving. 

She told me we would have to postpone Date Night.....OMD! I begged and pleaded for her not to do that.

How can she say no to that?

She said we shouldn't put a bunch of junk on Uncle D's computer and she doesn't have access to all my pics
(lesson learned).

I did more begging and pleading and told her to look at all the pups and kitkats hearts she would be breaking. Well.....she decided.....

not to postpone Date Night! Whew! That was close!

It has been raining here all week and I've become a little blue. As you can see, I've lost all my color but today the sun came out for most of the day.

Look, my color has returned and I am soooo very relaxed!

I LOVE SUNSHINE!!!!

I wish every day could be like this!
