Hi, everyone! I know I've been gone for a long time but Momma, Daddy, and I have been really busy helping Grandma and Grandpa. Here is a note from Mom:
As many of you know, my mom (aka Twix and Taffy's grandma) has been fighting leukemia for several years. She was the most courageous fighter I've ever seen. There have been several times that we thought she would not be here more than a few days but she always fought her way back. Unfortunately, no matter how hard she was fighting in her mind and in her spirit, her body was no longer able to keep fighting. She passed away comfortably at home on Tuesday. I've always known my mom was a strong woman but I never realized how strong until this past year. She was a beautiful and amazing woman who touched many lives.
Thank you for being a wonderful woman, Mom.
I will miss you every day for the rest of my life.
Thank you to our blogging friends who have provided support to our family over the years. You guys put so many smiles on her face when she was down.
