In my Neighborhood

C'mon, let's go for a walk in my neighborhood.

I'm wearing my Taffy Camo today.
Can you see me?

Do you wanna take a left here?

No?
Ok, then we'll take a right.

These trees are just across the street and I like the red and gold on the front tree against the green tree in the back.

I love walking through the crispy leaves.

Hmmmm.....someone left me a pee mail.

Momma and I love the blankets of leaves
that are left by the fall season.

Of all the trees in my neighborhood, this one is my favorite.

I love how parts of it are still bright green as the upper leaves are changing to red.

We had "Royal Blue" skies today that contrasted with those crimson leaves pawfectly.

My dumb Mom took a gazillion more pics of the beauty during our walk today but somehow deleted them from her phone and these are the only ones left.  If anyone knows how to recover the images from a Samsung Galaxy S5 without spending $50, we would appreciate your help.

Not only did she lose the pics she took today, she also lost the ones of my visit to the dog park yesterday.
Like I said.....Dumb!

Oh, Mom wanted me to let you know that she did not enhance any of the pics on today's post.
The colors really are that vivid this fall.

Lorenza

I am truly heart broken to read that Lorenza left her family and went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday.  She was our very first blog friend (as she was to many bloggers) and she and Twix became best of friends.
Blogville will never be the same without her.
Please stop by and leave a note for her family.
They need some Blogville love right now.

Sending lots of love and lots of hugs to her family,
Taffy and Teresa

A "Royal" Day at the Park

Earlier this summer (in June), Mom and Dad took me to a Kansas City Royals baseball game.  Every summer they have "Bark at the Park" and dogs are allowed at the game too.  I even had my own ticket!

Since the Royals are in the play offs, I thought this would be a good time to tell you all about my adventure at Royals Stadium.

Mom bought me a special shirt just for the game.

I wore it proudly as we walked from the parking lot to the game.

It was a really long way from the car to the stadium and it was a lot of steps for my short little legs.  I finally convinced Daddy to carry me.

It was really hot that day and they had lots of pools full of ice water available to cool us doggies off.

It was my first time ever being in a pool!
Momma got my shirt wet with the water and it kept me cool during the game.

After we found our seats, this guy came and sat next to us.  He was a Golden Doodle just like Stanley.  Momma said his furs were very soft.

And then a couple of rows in front of us was another Golden Doodle.  He had the longest tongue I've ever seen!

Don't worry Stanley, I didn't flirt with either one of those guys.  Momma did but I didn't!

There were lots of doxies there.  All of the ones in these pics were near our seats.

Slugger, the Royals' mascot, even picked a doxie up!

I had my very own seat and I made good use of it.

In case you don't know, sometimes baseball games get a little boring.  I'm not ashamed to admit I took a nap or two.

But when the game was interesting....

.....I paid attention.

We saw some interesting things at the game like this Yorkie that had a KC Royals dress.
Who told that black Lab he could photo bomb us?

This dog was interesting too.  Why is he standing on the fire hydrant?  I thought those were used for other purposes.

During the 7th inning stretch, we went for a walk and I found a nice cool place to relax.

And then I met a furiend.

By far, this was the strangest thing I saw at the game.

Am I the only one who thinks someone is just a tiny bit spoiled?

Does anyone see something wrong with this picture?

When the game was over, we made the long walk back to our car.

We are cheering the Royals on to beat the Baltimore Orioles and go to the World Series!
LET'S GO
ROYALS!

The Mystery Kiss--Episode 6 The Rest of the Story

So, as you know, my daddy decided I needed to go to the Convent cuz he was worried about me becoming too "worldly".  He sat me down and gave me the news.

I was so shocked I didn't know what to say.  Over the next few days he and I had a few "discussions" about his decision.  I tried to show him how much I disliked what was happening.

But that didn't sink in.  I finally had to let him know that I was quite angry about the whole thing.

Then he used my anger against me and said I never acted like that before.
What????
I wouldn't have acted like that if he hadn't have made such a crazy decision.
So, I packed my things in a box and off to the Convent I went.

You guys all know how much I missed Stanley.
One day, I was thinking about being at Blogville University (yes, it was during prayer time) and I remembered being Sorority sisters with Dory.

We had so much fun together!
I remembered that Dory had once told me, "No matter where life takes us, I will always be here to help you.  I'm only a phone call away."

So, that first call I made to Dory was me asking if she could help a sister out.
Of course she said she would...you know all she went though to help me get back to my Stanley.

After Stanley and I were exposed (thanks a lot, Bilbo!) I had to confront my Daddy about the convent again.  This time I was much nicer but told him that I had to follow my heart and he couldn't keep me and Stanley apart.  He thought about it and decided I could come home.  Then, he said he had one question for me....
"Taffy, I know you love Stanley but I really need to know if you will still be MY baby girl."
"Of course, Daddy!  No one will ever be able to change that!"

Then I gave him a couple of kisses and told him I loved him.

I'm very excited to be home and able to visit all my furiends again!
