On Friday our high temp was 88 degrees.
Today, our high temp was 62 degrees!
Brrrrrr.....
When I first came to live here,
I didn't like to be covered up or snuggle.
I know, doxies are supposed to be burrowers
but if you've never had the chance to burrow,
how do you know if you like it?
I still don't burrow, but I do appreciate being covered up.
Especially when the temperature takes a 25 degree nose dive!
I'm trying to get comfy.
Oh, yeah! This is the spot! Nap time!
I'm still not much of a snuggler but Momma says,
"Taffy, you're going to learn to snuggle
and you are going to like it!".
I guess we'll see.
Its been two and a half years and it hasn't worked yet.
62 degrees! Our lowest has been 82. Still.

BOL! 62 is balmy around here. We love it at that temp because we can stay outside and play for hours without getting too hot.

I love to crochet and when I finally get back to Scotland I will have to make myself one or two just like it to snuggle into... and maybe one day with another doggypal to keep me company. Oh Taffy, I am not much of a burrower either. But my first brother Henry was, he use to get up on the bed and go under the covers and go to the bottom of the bed, mums mum use to like him doing that as she called him her hot water bottle, he wasn't allowed to stay there all night mind. Love you blanket must keep you nice and warm.

We had a similar temp change here too ! Thankfully WHN had all of the couch blankets washed and ready for us!
ReplyDeleteYou look quite toasty in that blanket! We had a temperature change, too, but we were quite happy for it. Of course, it's warmed back up again, and we're happy for that, too. Pretty much anything that isn't steady rain is good with us!
