Twix's Flashback Friday: First Watermelon of the Summer

Twix loved to eat! 
As you will see, watermelon was one of her favorites. 

Today's Flashback was originally posted on May 31, 2009.
 I hope you enjoy reading this week's post as much as Twix enjoyed her watermelon.
It was pretty hot here yesterday so Momma decided it was time for our first summer watermelon.

Mmmmm...I love watermelon!

I'm waiting...you know I can smell that and I want some.
You can't tell in the picture but I am shivering with excitement!

Next, we went outside and I got this!Oh, this tastes great after such a hot day!
I always do a good job getting all the watermelon off the rind!
Do your Momma's give you watermelon too?

    Yes, Angel Trix via Taffy, my dear old Jade adored her summer treat - and she loved frozen bananas too!!

    What did surprise me was that Jasper cat took to water melon - but I think he just didn't want to be left out ...MOL...

    Yes, we love it too. Dad cuts it into bite sized pieces and puts them in a big plastic bowl, then we all dive in. Yum!!

    Since we were little babies last summer this was our first summer to try watermelon and we love it!

    Mommy remembers this post and I LOVE LOVE wallymelon. When Mommy cuts one open, I will come from another room and hunt her down until I get some. She uses it to get me to eat my supper(I am fussy) and take my pills(what?). Twixy, next time I eat wallymelon I will think of you.

    Oh Wally melon is the BESTEST!!! I LOVES the wally melon! And it is on my diet!! YEA!
    It sure looks like I could have learned a thingy or two from Twix! Nice technique!!! BOL
