Hey there! Mom and I have worked on getting this new background just right today by using the Template Designer in Blogger In Draft. We are really liking our new look except for the fact that neither she nor I can figure out how to center my header picture. It was always centered before and we didn't change any of that information. Does anyone have any helpful ideas?
We are hoping to get MY pictures off the old computer this week and can actually put some pics of me back on the blog. Here is an old favorite of mine:

We have never designed and use a template. Maybe you could edit he photo by putting something next to it to make it a rectangle to center?

We love the new background and new look. We think you might need to check/uncheck the shrink to fit box in the header to center it. Play with it a bit and see. Otherwise onecuteblog.com has some instructions on how to change things around.

Blog Mom says you'd have to fix that in the edit HTML section. She says always, always download your template before messing with that. And after downloading, remember where you buried it in case you need it again.
ReplyDeleteYou'd probably want to "expand template widgets" and then look at that source code. There will be a place where it can be done, but it can be trial and error trying to figure out which place, depending on how the sections are named. Thet kind of trial and error that can make you lose a little fur in frustration. Maybe.
She's at work now, but would be willing to look later tonight if you wanted to copy your HTML code and send it over. Alternatively, a a new header the same size as the main content area might just be easier.

The new layout looks GREAT!! We had the header problem once & I can't remember what we did to fix it. I think it had something to do with the headers or something. Hopefully Lola's help will get you to where you want to be! :o) But so far it looks FAB!!

okie dokie, my mama wants me to ask you for your header picture centering...have you tried changing the widths of your bloggie in draft blogger? click template designer and then layout and then adjust width. my mama thinks maybe you need to adjust the width on your right sidebar?

Hi there! I got your comment on ilovethewaysheblogs.blogspot.com. I'm not sure if someone suggested this yet, but you may need to redo your header with the same deminsions of your blog. There may be an easier way, but that's all that's coming to mind right now. Best of luck!
