Grandma's surgery

Hi everyone! Yes, you are correct, today was Grandma's surgery. I didn't get to go to the hospital so I sent Mom instead. Grandma came out of surgery just fine. She said to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

They were able to remove her tumor successfully but we will not have a pathology report for several days. The surgeon thinks it is similar to what she had before which was a non invasive type of tumor so that is a great thing! The way we understand it is that it can grow on things like moss growing on a rock. Because it is a non invasive type of cancer it is much less dangerous than other types of cancer so we are very happy for that. Sorry if that is TMI.
Grandma will be in the hospital for several days so we might not be able to get around and visit much. Thanks for understanding and caring!

    Yahoo an yipee and yahoo again. That is such good news. I bet you and your Mom and Dad are so happy that its over. When she gets out of the hospital maybe you can help to nurse her so she feels better. Thank you for the update.

    Hi Twix, thank you for the update. That sounds like good news!
    We expect Grandma will be very tired after her op but we know you will all be relieved with that report albeit you have to wait for pathology.
