The Weekend

We finally got some nice weather!
It was beautiful both Saturday and Sunday.
We didn't do much because Momma woke up Saturday morning and could hardly move because her back hurt so bad. It was a tiny bit better Sunday and she is almost back to normal now.
I told her, "Thats what you get for saying I'm getting old."
On with the highlights of my weekend.....cause it is about me!

I spent some time sunning in my chair. First I tried this position:
Then I thought I should check and make sure there were no squirrels in my yard. Nope, no squirrels here and boy are they lucky. Yep, all those nose prints on the window belong to me.
I liked my first position best so I went back to it.
Lets see how the floor is warming up today.
Mmmmm, nice and toasty!
I even got to lay OUTSIDE in the sun!
Very few days left this year where I can do that.
Sunday I rooted for my Chiefs and guess what?
They won! Can you believe it?
Boy, the evening sun coming through the glass was getting quite warm. I thought I would lay half in the sun and half in the shade as a compromise. It was perfect!
(Goodness! I look like a sausage in this photo!)
And then.....get ready for some excitement.....
I got back in my chair and did some more of this....

I hope everyone had a great weekend too!
I'm still trying to post a video with no luck.
I'll keep working on it.

    Twix, you look so snuggy comfy in all your pictures. I am glad you had a nice weekend, ours was pretty good too. I hope your Mommy feels better with her back. I think its ok if you look like a sausage, you are a wiener dog after all.

    it looks like you had a perfect weekend! and it's okay to look like a sausage cuz we are wiener dogs, after all! i hope your mom's back feels better. maybe the file size of your video is too big? blogger definitely has size limitations though you tube has a larger maximum size limit.

    If you were a little less long and my hair was a little less curly...I think we would be twins. I love sunning in my window and on my porch. You look pawsome in your Jersey and I am glad your team won.

    Hi Twix, we love your nose. We even studied it and imagine how our noses look. I don't really like to watch myself in the mirror and my mom said that's not normal while I'm a girl.
    Love your photos. Lucky you for the sunny weather. Here it had been raining for so many days that we even forget how the sun looks. I adore to lay down in the sun,too, even if is hot. Dad says that I get burn, but never happens that to me.

    THANK YOU TWIX !! I was starting to suffer withdrawal. I had really missed your wonderful chair photos!!! You make it look so easy. Nose marks on the window... YOU get to KEEP yours???? Your mom doesn't wash the good ones away??? You lucky lucky girl you. My mom just took all mine off the sunporch windows and the birds and I are suffering something awful.
    Thanks again for the chair pics. I think you should be on the OLYMPIC team. Chair arobics perhaps.

    Twix, you look like a champion sun-soaker-upper!! I agree that it feels great on a cold day - but I heat up so fast (being black) that I can never stand it for long. Funny what you said about the sausage resemblance - now that you mention it.... BOL
