Before we get to the fall photos I wanted to update you on my Grandma. Her surgery was cancelled tomorrow morning and rescheduled for next Tuesday. According to her insurance company, they did not receive the paperwork in order to approve surgery. According to her doctor's office they sent the paperwork last week. Very frustrating for Grandma.
Thank you everyone for your good thoughts, paws crossed, prayers, etc. It means a lot to know I have so many of you out there pulling for her. Now, keep it up till next week if you can......
Mom went for a long walk around our neighborhood yesterday (without me) and took some pretty photos of the trees. She has loads of photos so you will probably be seeing these throughout the week.
Don't you love the contrast in some of the colors? This fall has been extremely beautiful in our part of the country due to all the rain we had this summer.
This is the view down my street....
With such beauty around us we thought it was important to share it, especially since not everyone gets to see fall where they are.
I will be back tomorrow with some more photos for you and some that include the enemy!

Tank woo fur sharing the news on your grandma -
ReplyDeleteThat sukhks about the 'paperwork' thing - woo should have chewed it up!

Hi Twix!
ReplyDeleteBoy what pretty leaves, we had a lot of rain this year to and also had some nice leaves but I think you had some more contrast to your leaves.
Sorry your grandma has to wait longer, the hardest part is the waiting, but we are still crossing paws for her.
I'll keep praying for your grandma!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Twix!
ReplyDeleteInsurance issues are not fun!
I will keep my paws crossed for your Grandma!
Thanks for sharing all those beautiful pictures of your fall! Yes, we don't have it here!
Kisses and hugs

Wow, those pictures are beautiful. I am sorry your Grandma has to wait. My Daddy is sick and he has those insurance problems all the time. I hope it goes good for her next week.
ReplyDeletelicks and sniffs, Sasha
The fall colors are beautiful here in Michigan also. I love Fall Anne
We just love the colours. Great pics - without a doubt our favourite time of year.

You live in a very beautiful area.
ReplyDeleteWe love autumn's colors, too. Mom wanted to dye her hair in one of these colors once. And she loves when she opens her wardrobe and autumn's colors clothes invite her to wear it. Lovely.
Thanks for keeping us updated on your grandma. Will keep my paws crossed for her.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing those beautiful pics! :)

Twix,
ReplyDeletePlease tell mom to keep us posted on your Grandma!!! What gorgeous pictures of the fall colors. Glorious colors and contrast. My hubby and I drove to the NC mtn. for color show...nothing...then we get home to find it is just gorgeous in our own back yard and neighborhood. Madi and Mom
Pretty fall pictures! We don't get those here in FL! Have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Twix. Sorry about your grandma's ins. worries. That just adds to the stress.
ReplyDeleteThe ENEMY???? Would that be a Rodent???
Sorry to hear about the delay with your Grandma's surgery, the waiting to get it done and over with is the most anxious part. She will be in my prayers still.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photos of gorgeous Fall leaves!! We get color like that up here in our trees, but the past two Saturdays we had some big rain storms with lots of wind and sadly a lot of the leaves are off the trees now :(
We know your Grandma is frustrated - drat that insurance company!!
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are beautiful - we didn't get a lot of color this year - just a lot of wind and rain.
XOXO

Lovely photos. Your mom is talented with that camera. I hope your Grandma gave the insurance company a piece of our minds. I know I would have probably needed to do that, if it were me.
ReplyDeleteAndy found another enemy. There was a flock of buzzards in the yard yesterday morning. He chased them away, barking and growling. When they flew, he jumped straight up and down to make sure they understood it's HIS yard and they're NOT welcome. Wish I could've gotten pictures.
Beautiful pictures! I really miss seeing the foliage every year since moving to Florida :(
ReplyDeleteHi Twix.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such gorgeous pics. Our leaves are finished.
We're praying for your Grandma.
Love Ruby & Penny
Those trees were stunning, Twix! I especially like that first one! Gorgeous colors!!!
ReplyDeleteMore prayers for your grandma! Sorry for the delay - but everything for a reason!
Love,
Ammy
Hi Twix,
ReplyDeleteThose trees look like the ones we have around here. They sure are purdy! Mom raked some leaves the other day and me and Banjo played hide and seek.
Waggles,

ReplyDeletehugs,

Tough to need medical care these days, someone always has an excuse for the mistakes. HOpe things go better for Grandma next week.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors we have had this year in the KC area, one of the nicest we can remember.
Tail wags, the OP Pack
Great foliage, Twix's mom! My human goes nuts for those colors, too.
ReplyDeleteShe will pray for your grandma and my paws will be crossed extra tight that all goes well for her next week. Must be so frustrating to have to postpone; will send peaceful vibes over her way. If you give her extra snuggles, I'm sure it will help.
Your pal,
Sedona
